Zuqruf designs and builds software for companies that care how things are made. The people you meet in discovery are the people who design, build and support the work.
Why we exist
We started Zuqruf for the part of software work that is usually skipped. The empty states, the error copy, the loading paths and the second-week bugs are where craft shows, and where most products stop short. We draw the whole thing up before we build it, then build exactly what was drawn.
Senior only
Nobody on a Zuqruf project is learning on your budget. Every engineer and designer has shipped production software for years, and each one works on at most two clients at a time.
Your accounts, your code
Repositories, cloud and domains are created in your name on day one. If we disappeared tomorrow, you would lose nothing but our company.
Fixed scope, written down
Every sprint has an agreed goal. Changes get a one-page note with the cost and the schedule impact before anyone starts, so there is never an invoice you did not expect.
Finish the last five percent

Zuqruf is opening its doors in 2026 with a founding team of senior engineers and designers who have shipped production software at startups and scale-ups in Toronto and abroad. Profiles land here as the team is announced.
How we hire
Everyone who joins has shipped and maintained something real for years. We hire for the ability to explain a trade-off to a non-technical founder as much as for the ability to make it. No take-home tests longer than two hours, and we pay for them.
Where we work
Downtown Toronto, in Eastern Time, with in-person sessions across the GTA on request. Discovery interviews and usability tests happen in person wherever a client prefers it.
